Electrical Engineering Degree required. Related experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Knowledge of various ARINC and 1553 data buses and experience in interfacing/integrating aircraft avionics systems with other aircraft systems in a simulation environment is desireable.
- A working knowledge of Fortran, C or C++ along with experience in systems software design is a definite plus.
Duties Would Include:
- Analyzing aircraft data to determine design approach to be used - Simulation or Stimulation.
- Evaluating existing simulator systems and interfaces.
- Designing hardware approaches for simulator modifications and creating appropriate hardware documentation.
- Traveling to customer site to oversee the installation and testing of modifications.

- Strong knowledge of connectors/cabling requirements.
- Ability to extract cable assemblies and wire list from system diagrams.

- Design hardware interface to incorporate various modifications such as EGPWS, FMS and TCAS.
- Travel to site to perform installation and testing.
