Electrical Engineering Degree required. Related experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

• Knowledge of various ARINC and 1553 data buses and experience in interfacing/integrating aircraft avionics systems with other aircraft systems in a simulation environment is desireable.
• A working knowledge of Fortran, C or C++ along with experience in systems software design is a definite plus.

Duties Would Include:

• Analyzing aircraft data to determine design approach to be used - Simulation or Stimulation.
• Evaluating existing simulator systems and interfaces.
• Designing hardware approaches for simulator modifications and creating appropriate hardware documentation.
• Traveling to customer site to oversee the installation and testing of modifications.

Electrical Engineering Degree required. Related experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

• Experience with various simulator systems such as FMS, EGPWS, TCAS an EFIS.
• Strong knowledge of connectors/cabling requirements.
• Ability to extract cable assemblies and wire list from system diagrams.
• A working knowledge of Fortran, C or C++ along with experience in systems software design is a definite plus.

Duties Would Include:

• Analyze existing simulator systems designs.
• Design hardware interface to incorporate various modifications such as EGPWS, FMS and TCAS.
• Travel to site to perform installation and testing.

• High school diploma
• Knowledge of flight trainers and/or visual systems desirable
• Working knowledge of electronics systems
• Working knowledge of mechanical systems
• Working knowledge of hydraulics
• Forklift, rigging and millwright abilities

• Disassemble full flight simulators including computer, electronic and mechanical systems at existings site.
• Load simulator and all exiting equipment for travel
• Re-assemble simulator at new site
