In the Community
BSC employees are proud to support our local community in many ways. Here are some of the activities over the past few months:

BSC Exhibits Simulation at Roberson Museum and Science Center Super Science Day:

BSC employee Dick Lehr and volunteer Aaron Wolf Instruct Test Pilots BSC employee Gordon Ruston guides a young pilot to a landing

BSC again sponsored an exhibit at the Roberson Museum and Science Center's Super Science Day on March 27th and 28th of 2008.

This event is a celebration of the sciences through the showcasing of local resources that promote careers in science, technology and engineering.

This year, BSC Certified the students as Simulator Test Pilots. BSC Employees gave students interactive, hands-on experience for flying a simulator. The students then flew the simulator and were awarded their Simulator Test Pilot Certificate.

BSC holds Soup Cookoff Luncheon Fundraiser to support local food bank.

Thanks to BSC, in conjunction with our building's neighbors Shumaker Engineering and the Mental Health Association of the Southern Tier, the Soup Cookoff Luncheon was a great success. The event, held at BSC's Main Office, raised over $200.00 to support Broome County's Community Hunger Outreach Warehouse (CHOW) program.

BSC continues its year-round support for CHOW with donations of collected food.
