History: Binghamton Simulator Company (BSC) roots are from the company which pioneered flight simulation under the guidance of Edwin A. Link. Each of the original eight employees of BSC were former engineers, managers or executives from the Link Flight Simulation Division of the Singer Company. From the begining, the years have been exciting and full of challenges, both from a management aspect and an engineering aspect. We have built a company that has compiled an impressive list of accomplishments in just a few short years. Back BSC is
leading provider of specialized training services and devices for the U.S. Military and Homeland Defense in the fight against Global Terrorism. The Advanced Generation Simulator System II (AGSS II) was introduced at the Army Aviation Association of America (Quad A) National Convention May 2005. Enhancements on the AGSS II include state of the art computing, visual system hardware and software upgrades and expanded training capabilities. Additionally, BSC will offer the AGSS II in a transportable, containerized model. In the mid-1990's, BSC designed, manufactured and delivered the world's first Virtual Gunnery Trainer for Side Gunners on MH-60 and MH-53J Helicopter Simulators for the United States Air Force (USAF) Special Operations Forces. This device, named the AGSS for Aerial Gunner Scanner Simulator, enhances our country’s Special Operations Forces ability to perform their mission with improved protection for personnel, their equipment and the environment. BSC is an industry leader in Full Flight Simulator relocations, relocating over 270 devices in the past years. At Cathay Pacific, BSC completed the largest commercial simulation relocation project ever awarded in the industry, on time and within budget. This effort is only one of the four complete training center Relocations that BSC has completed successfully. Other complete training center relocations include FlightSafety Miami, FL, JAL Tokyo, Japan and USAIR Pittsburgh to Charlotte. BSC TCAS, GPWS/EGPWS, G7 Emulator, GP4 Enhancement products and Ethernet Interface Replacement for Link AST Master Controller DMA interface cards enhance the operation of over 100 military and commercial simulators worldwide. BSC software and hardware modifications are installed on over 125 commercial and military simulators, worldwide. BSC offers technical and spares support to all of the flight simulation industry. Back Looking Ahead: The best is yet to come as we develop new and better products, improve on our already successful methods for relocations and expand our horizons with increased involvement in military markets and other related fields. Many try to imitate us, but none have been able to perform with the consistent quality and success that BSC has demonstrated throughout our history. BSC is customer oriented, quality driven, and always seeking the next challenge in our quest to fulfill our Mission Statement: Back |
